Mustang Hop

April’s NZ Petrolhead brings you the first automotive print report on the biggest Repco Beach Hop. The Whangamata festival had around 2000 vehicles entered, and an estimated 110,000 attended over the five days. There were 114 Mustangs, part of the event’s celebration of the legendary marque. You’ll also read about Rebel Round Up, Caroline Bay Rock and Hop, Cruz’n the Bayz and many more events. There’s a look back at the birth of the Ford Mustang, burnouts, and plenty of drag tracing. NZ Petrolhead has been published for 26 years, is still free, and is still monthly.

New NZ Rodder available now -  order your copy today!

December’s NZ Rodder magazine has a kustom flavour, with exclusive in-depth features on two impressive ’50 Mercury coupes. One is a ground-up build that has a severe chop, is ’bagged and has late model running gear. The other is a well-known traditional, stock-height car that’s had a secret full makeover by its new owner.

Everyone loves gassers, right? You’ll read about the UK Gasser Circus at Santa Pod’s Dragstalgia meet, along with a bunch of wheel standing Super Stock Mopars. And fans of proper traditional pre ’49 hot rods will enjoy coverage of the Hot Rod Beach Races at Pendine Sands. On a much smaller scale, check out an insane collection of plastic model kits that dates back more than five decades, and a sensational replica of a front engine dragster.

NZ Rodder is printed on high quality paper with a heavy gloss laminated cover, and retails for just $30 plus delivery.
