NZ Rodder for Christmas!
The new NZ Rodder magazine is a feast of traditional hot rodding goodness, along with some lowrider-flavoured icing on the cake.
Native Texans brought their ’32 Ford roadster with them when they moved to New Zealand; their story is the lead feature. Chris Harrison’s superb ’bagged ’52 GMC Suburban is the cover story, and is one of three ‘bagged cars in this issue – the other two are a ’54 Chevy Bel Air, and a metal flaked and engraved ’59 Chevy Impala. A ’39 Mercury convertible and a ’36 Ford three-window round out this issue’s in-depth and informative car features.
You’ll also read about an impressive collection of early American rodding magazines and event programmes; an old-school sign maker; and we pop across the ditch to catch up with some kiwis at the 10th annual GreazeFest.
More of a coffee-table publication than a magazine, the 164-page
NZ Rodder #196 is at the printer now, and deliveries will start Friday December 5 – just the thing for a Christmas gift or two. New Zealand’s finest hot rodding magazine is just $30 plus delivery.
