Saturday of Repco Beach Hop is always manic, and the 2025 edition was no different. The Meguiar’s Car show along Port Road was huge, and Slamfest ’25, the lowrider show down at Titoki Reserve, attracted even more cars than last year and has become one of Saturday’s - and Beach Hop’s - highlights. A mind-numbingly big crowd attended the entertainment and prize draws at Williamson Park from 3.00pm. Sunday’s Classic Cover Insurance Nostalgia Fair and Car Show at Williamson Park officially started at 9.00am with the roll-in of the cars, bikes and caravans for the Mainstream Top 10 Shoot Out. The market was huge, with more stalls of crafts, clothes, food and businesses. The park was packed with public and entrants, who voted for their favourite car, bike and caravan by way of a cash donation into bins alongside each finalist vehicle.
