Repco Beach Hop 26 – Friday March 26

Thursday’s weather was bad, and sadly Friday’s forecast was even worse. The Beach Hop committee made the tough (and 100 per cent right) call to cancel all activities, and asked that everyone stay home and be safe. There was flooding, and road closers in and out of Whangamata. The few cars did Port Road laps when the rain eased, bands still played at various venues throughout the evening, and the NZ Petrolhead Vintage Market was in full swing.
