Repco Beach Hop 26 – Saturday March 27

Wow! What an epic day. Instead of rain, thousands of enthusiastic people, and sensational cars and bikes, flooded into Whangamata for a perfect Repco Beach Hop Saturday. The Meguiar’s Grand Parade was epic, taking an hour and a half. The bands fired up, and people packed out the cafes and bars were chocka. The Repco Pre 49 Hot Rod Show, Slamfest, JCD Customs Pick-up Truck Show, and the Harley Davidson Motorcycle Show went off big time. At 4.00pm the focus shifted to the entertainment and major prize draws at Williamson Park, and then Saturday was all about cruising and partying.
