Repco Beach Hop 26 – Thursday March 26

Repco Power Cruise Pauanui was cancelled due to heavy rain, so the Beach Hop committee came up with Plan B: Repco Power Cruise Whangamata. The festival’s theme was ‘Route 66’, so entrants were encouraged to cruise Whangamata’s streets and “turn the weather into something legendary”. They did exactly that, throughout the day and into the night.
